Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have been linked with a number of targets that might be arriving in this transfer window as they want to continue keeping their titles hopes alive and maintain their top spot at the Premier League but despite all of the rumors concerning new arrivals, nothing has really been done.

The transfer window is just a few days away from closing and Wenger will have to wait until the summer if he wants to offload or sign new players.

Schalke’s Julian Draxler is a top target on the radar of Wenger and the representatives of the player are believed to be receiving setting up places to talk about the future of the German midfielder. Draxler wants to make his move to a club where the chances of getting the Champions League title and other significant silverware are much better than his current club but it is highly unlikely that Schalke are interested in releasing one of their best performers.

Porto’s Jackson Martinez was being tracked down by Arsenal and Chelsea as the Colombian forward has been enjoying an impressive season with his club but the player is on the verge of extending his contract with Porto as he seems to be reluctant on moving away from Porto anytime soon.

Luis Manuel Manso is the agent of Jackson Martinez and he stated that an agreement has already been done regarding the future of his client as he will be renewing a contract with Porto.

‘’I will travel to Porto next week to discuss the renewal. There is already an agreement to renew,” Manso told the paper.

Nicklas Bendtner is a player that was expected to be making his move away from Arsenal as he just could not find a spot in the manager’s plan which is why he was out on loan at Juventus and when the loan was over, Crystal Palace seemed to have agreed a deal for the Danish player but the move was cancelled.
