The Zenit St Petersburg manager Luciano Spalletti has said that he would be interested in bringing Arsenal winger Andrei Arshavin to the club in the summer transfer window. The 31-year-old Russian is out of contract at the end of this season. Hence, Arsenal will be looking to recoup most of the £ 15 million they paid to the Russian club four years ago. Even though Zenit St Petersburg will not have to pay such a extra when the transfer fee due to the fact that he is 31 years of age, he is still not expected to cost peanuts.

Andrei Arshavin recently won his league title with the Russian club. He made 10 appearances for the Russian club that after moving back in January. It is thought that Luciano Spalletti will be interested in making the move permanent due to the impact he has had on the team.
